We, the People Can Make India Clean and Green – Join the Conversation – #AbMontuBolega

For every other thing, we Indians, blame government. If there is violence, we blame goverrnment, if there is corruption, we blame government. Worst, even, if we pass through a filthy road, we blame government.

Why? Because we expect government to correct our wrongdoings. For instance, we, the people won’t think  twice before throwing a wrapper, garbage or any other waste on road. However, when the one-two wrapper and waste accumulates and becomes a pile of trash, we quickly blame the local civic body or sometimes even the government at the centre.

My question is how can one blame the Government for something for which we and only we are responsible?

Agreed, the government has to take corrective action for each and every wrong things which we do, like creating a pile of garbage. But, ever, wondered, what if we do not create a mess, in the first place? What if, instead of complaining later, we stop throwing  unnecessary waste outside.

We Indians, can apply the Japanese model, can’t we?

Now, what is Japanese Model?

Well, if you remember, during the football World Cup 2014 in Brazil, images of Japanese went viral where young Japanese were seen picking up all the trash in the stadium after the game was over. The trash included empty bottles, chips wrappers ad all sort of things which we normallly eat and drink in stadium or movie theatre. This is precisely Japanese model, where a young child  from his initial days in school, is taught to be a crusader of cleanliness. Since, each and everyone is a crusader of Anti-Garbage, Japan is one of the  cleanest country in the world.

Now, can you credit the Japanese Government for their accomplishment?

Well, it is the people of Japan, who actually deserves a pat on their back. Similarly, if there is filth around India, government, alone is not to be blamed. We, the people are also responsible for the same. And, if we, become responsible citizens, first, by not throwiing and creating a mess, and next by requesting/urging/educating the others, I’m  sure, India will no more be a dirty India like it is infamous all over the world.

Swachh Bharat Campaign

Swachh Bharat Campaign initiated by our PM is a noble idea, however, it cannot be a successful campaign until each one of us join the campaign physically and mentally. Campaign is just a start, it can only be successful, if we make the campaign our habit. Though I’m not a cleanliness freak, I’ve always kept my trash, either in my school bag or in my hand bag, later. However, there are many, who are cleanliness freak inside their home, but don’t think twice before throwing garbage on the road.

I raise my voice against these people – The Pseudo Cleanliness Freak, who keep their house clean but not their environment or surrounding.

I have been a silent spectator of their actions from ages but not anymore. I vow that I will continue to keep my surrounding clean, and at the same time educate others to do the same – Kyunki Bin Bole Ab Nahi Chalega as the New Strepsils Campaign says!

22rahul-gandhi11

6.       Democracy isn’t ruled by a single man

Highlighting on the definition of democracy, Mr. Gandhi stressed on the point that, Democracy is not something which is ruled by a single man. He further stated that, Congress is not like others who turn people of the same country against each other which illuminates the sparks of communal hatred. Now, everybody knows at what Mr. Gandhi seems to be hinting at.

7.       Dr. Manmohan Singh and team took the country to new heights

Rahul Gandhi openly admired how our current PM Manmohan Singh and the UPA II government scaled India to new heights by bringing in acts and laws that benefitted the country. He talked about the MGNREGA, Right to Information Act, and AADHAR card. While the former gave the people the right to work, the RTI gave the general public, the right to know and the latter gave a common identity to everybody. His speech also lauded Manmohan Singh’s government when he mentioned how the Panchayti Raji transformed in these 10 years.

8.       We will fight for Women and their rights

Rahul Gandhi in his power-packed speech gave due importance to women and even said unless women are given the power, our country cannot rest on its feet. The Congress leader also mentioned that it is his dream to see women as 50% of the Congress leaders in future.

9.       Raising the poor to middle class level

In a decade, Congress led UPA has brought 14 crore people out of the “below poverty line” in India. And in the next five years, Congress further aims to bring up the 70 crore people stuck above the BPL line and below the middle class into the middle class section.

10.   Opposition can sell haircuts and combs to bald people

Attacking the oppositions, Rahul Gandhi made an intelligent as well as humorous remark by calling them skilled salesman who are very much expert in marketing. He indirectly pointed at BJP by saying they are so good in marketing that they even have an ability to sell combs to the bald. On AAP, the newly formed party, Rahul Gandhi raised his voice by claiming them a step forward than the others. He said these new bunch of people can even sell haircuts to bald by opening a hair salon for them.

Rahul Gandhi’s powerful speech with lot of force and aggression in the AICC meet prior to the Lok Sabha Elections has given all his cynics a rest. The loud applause and cheers at the Talkatora Indoor stadium only evoked the rise of the much criticized Gandhi son. Good going Gandhi Junior!

Top 10 point of Rahul Gandhi’s Speech in the AICC meet – Part I

Rahul Gandhi, on January 17th in the AICC meet delivered the most stimulating speech, focusing on democratization, ideologies of Congress and empowerment of the people. 22rahul-gandhi11

Below is the ten points of his rousing speech:

1.       PM will be selected by MP’s and not declared by the party

Congress workers from past few days were being impatient to hear Rahul as a PM candidate. They wanted a face for the campaign against the BJP’s PM Candidate Narendra Modi. However, Mr. Gandhi, reminded them of the Indian constitution, which clearly states the PM is elected by the MP’s and not by the party ahead of the elections.

2.       The Deal for the Common Man

From ages now, Congress has proved that the party’s aim is to empower the common people and give them all that what they deserve and desire. Going by the same line, Mr. Gandhi said our country is constantly changing. So, it becomes the prime duty of the Congress to meet the growing aspirations of the aam aadmi, who aspire fair pact.

3.       12 LPG Cylinder for every home

The most awaiting news for all the mothers and family is out. Nobody has to now worry of the huge amount one had to pay for more than 9 cylinders in a single year. Yes, Rahul Gandhi has himself confirmed that 9 LPG cylinders are not enough, our home needs 12 LPG cylinders.

4.       Congress is not a party but an “Idea”

Attacking his oppositions he said, those who tried to put an end to the “idea” named Congress never succeeded and will only fail if they try to do so. The Congress Vice-President further also emphasized the fact that this election is not just any other election but a turning event for India as a whole.

5.       Putting all our might to pass the 6 Pending Anti-Graft Bills

In his inspirational speech, Rahul Gandhi also talked about anti-corruption tasks which the party will start doing. He said, Congress will start pushing the 6 anti-graft bills in Parliament which will definitely help in weakening corruption from the country.

Waiving Defaulters and Pilferers – Do You have only such Solutions, Mr. Kejriwal?

In the name of “Janta ka andolan” and “Janta ki sarkar”, Arvind Kejriwal has done something which he shouldn’t have done. The self claimed Janta ka rakshak has exempted all the defaulters who have not paid electricity bills from a period of 10 months and also pilferers who were charged for electricity theft for robbing electricity during these months. The reason, Well Mr. Kejriwal, then, had gone for a civil disobedience movement urging people not to pay electricity bills.

kejriwal red rose new 640 Waiving Defaulters and Pilferers Do You have only such Solutions, Mr. Kejriwal?

Any Tom, Dick and Harry comes, goes in for any movement and if by fluke wins an election even tries to violate the constitution by supporting pilferers. Kejriwal has done the same thing, the man who claims to be the aam aadmi’s savior has turned out to be a disaster by supporting unauthentic things, which is neither good for the economy nor the public’s welfare.

Moreover, this man also violates the Electricity Act and hence the constitution. While, a cartoonist wins a ticket to prison for expressing his thoughts by drawing wolves instead of lion over anti-corruption, why ain’t this newly elected CM not being showed the same door for violating the constitution by breaking it or even thinking of doing so?

A self proclaimed man of the people, how can he even justify the term? Last heard, he is trying to solve people’s grievances by doing this as promised by him prior to Delhi elections. Now, tomorrow, other Mr. Kejriwal will show moon and stars to people and Indians thinking him to be a messiah votes for him, but by any chance if he wins, he will again violate some things which will again go against the people and country. Don’t you think, we too are partly responsible for this?

Now, do we want our economy to go further down? Whatever Kejriwal is doing – Is it really feasible or does it really make sense? If Kejriwal has such nonsense solutions for the country, I’m sure we do not want him sitting on the important chair of Chief Minister.

In addition, transferring officials from one place to another, is that again a solution for wiping out corruption? Although his words might have fooled us in the beginning that he is a man of thoughts who really want to change India and its destiny, his actions have alighted us pre Lok Sabha elections.

Apologies Mr. Kejriwal, but if you have only such unauthentic solutions for the country, we are not at all interested to see you as CM, forget about the post of PM!

Why do people love to hate Rahul Gandhi?

In the current scenario, where BJP is hijacking social media and brainwashing people with their ideology, disliking Congress and Rahul Gandhi has become a common phenomenon, making “I dislike Congress “and “I hate Rahul Gandhi” merely style statements. If you ask them what exactly they hate about Rahul Gandhi, they are clueless and cling to only few things which might not even give justice to their level of hatred.

M Id 448307 Rahul Gandhi Why Do People Love To Hate Rahul Gandhi?

So, what is urging people to hate Rahul so much?

The Trend

We, Indians have a tendency of going with the trend and following others. So when Modi becomes an Internet sensation over the months, supporting him becomes sensible and hating Congress the apparent thing. In the current scenario, supporting Modi means campaigning for advancement and developed India. On the other hand if you support Rahul, you are either illiterate or a person who isn’t interested in building India. So, people in order not to appear “dehati” tend to hail Modi and try to criticize Rahul. It is just a trend, if you actually observe keenly.

The Education Background

Narendra Modi has been saying Rahul Gandhi isn’t qualified enough going by his education qualifications. Now, when did qualification became a constraint for the PM post? Was Indira Gandhi, the woman who successfully managed the show, qualified? Haven’t the not so qualified PM’s done a wonderful job in India as well as abroad. What is so much to hate about it?

The hoopla around the grand “Surname”

So, you think just because he has the surname, he will attain the position and so he should be hated. Well, is he having a gala time only because he was born in the Gandhi family? Isn’t he facing the brunt? In fact, he is having issues only because of the surname. At least he is not like Akhilesh Yadav. Rahul has been living amidst the people, trying to know their requirements ever since he joined politics. When time came, he even went against his own party. This only shows he has that political impulse and the nerve which is very much needed for the post of Prime Minister. Hating him only because he has “x” surname doesn’t mean that he is not worthy of the top position.

BJP in their “Congress-mukt Bharat” campaign has been trying their best to illustrate all the negative things of Rahul so that the hatred amongst the urban class Indians escalates three folds, but we are yet to see his strengths. So, now you now why the aam junta loves to hate Rahul Gandhi? Yes, because the entire nation has yet to see his strengths. On the contrary, Modi which we are seeing is in his peak.

Achievements of Congress Led UPA Government

BJP is campaigning across the nation on the grounds of growth and development which the party did in a single state. Citing Gujarat as an example, the Narendra Modi led party claims to improve India as a whole prior to the 2014 assembly elections. Then, on the other side, AAP is vowing to change the face of India by promising moon and stars. What Congress is assuring? Nothing as such!

1378808450rahul gandhi.jpg 380x300 Achievements Of Congress Led Upa Government

Well, it seems like Congress rather believes in delivering than promising. Astonished? Let’s dig into the achievements of Congress led UPA Government in the last 9 years:

1.    Passed a list of Acts that benefits only the aam aadmi and not the politicians.

Congress led UPA government will always be remembered in the Indian history for passing RTI, Right to Information Act in 2005. The act helps in clean governance by providing information to the common man. It encourages citizen participation and maintains transparency in governance. Besides Information, the government also gave people the right to job, education and food through the MNREGA, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act in 2010, Right to Education Act which makes education compulsory for kids in between the age of 6 and 14 and Food Security Bill in 2013.

2.    Uplifted the hands that feeds India, “the farmers”

From Rashtrya Krishi Vikas Yojana to Seed and Interest funding schemes, Congress led UPA government has made sure that the farmer’s requirements are taken care of. In addition, grant in loans by the government, further gave farmers the breathing space which they always yearned for. The BJP led NDA Government may talk about growth, progress and development but did they ever care about farmers? Last heard, they are not in favor of FDI.

3.    Women and Children were given importance and not sidelined

A separate ministry – The Ministry of Women and Child Development came alive in 2006. Integrated Child Protection Scheme was also launched. Laws were passed for child sexual abuse and sexual harassment of women in workplace in 2012 and 2013 respectively. Stringent anti rape laws came into existence during this period and voyeurism became a non bailable offence. Also, NMEW, the National Mission for Empowerment of Women was started by the Government in 2010 on International Women’s Day to reinforce the inter-sector union.

Several other achievements of Congress led UPA government includes upliftment of rural girls, provision of better health facilities as well as reforms in Railway, Power, Health, Agriculture and Education sector. While, urban middle-class seems to be criticizing the UPA government over social media and other platforms, the rural India, the real voters are in fact benefiting from these achievements of Congress. Now, isn’t the gain of the rural India, gain of India?
